The METSMaC 2007 organizing committee invites persons involved in the teaching of mathematics, the sciences, and computing at the upper secondary, pre-university foundation, and lower tertiary levels to submit an abstracts for consideration to participate in METSMaC 2007, with this year's theme being "Active Teaching, Active Learning".

METSMaC is dedicated to providing a forum wherein educators in Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Computing and Engineering may share their ideas, research and pedagogical expertise to enhance the professional development of all educators in the UAE and surrounding regions.

A new track session on Undergraduate Engineering Education is planned for inclusion in next year’s conference. This track will explore the evolving needs for engineering education over the next decade to counteract the perceived skills deficiency of today’s graduate engineers. Furthering engineering education through enhancing teaching methods and curriculum will also be explored. Abstract submissions on all aspects of undergraduate engineering education are also invited.

METSMaC 2007 will be held at the Beach Rotana Hotel and Towers in the Tourist Club area of downtown Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from March 17-19, 2007.
